No 5 a portrait – framed print

Description

What can be said about Chanel No 5 that has not been said already? This is my own bottle that you’ll see on some of my social media. In this photo I was trying to capture the contrast between the opulence of Chanel and the stark chemistry of the aldehyde notes that give No 5 its distinctive smell. In a way I think this photograph is quite cold – it reminds me of Paris in winter freezing outside Rue Cambon so to me it’s still so Chanel.
